I am glad I have this blog for our family and friends around the world so they can witness really special things like what I have attached on video. FLORA CAN COUNT! We are thrilled and completely impressed that she is doing this already. I didn’t want to post about it too early as Rich and I thought we should test her out thoroughly with different objects, different numbers etc but she most definitely understands the concept of counting. She can count from 1-6 and can count up to 4 objects. I know I am bragging but that’s what this blog is for! Enjoy!

We hit the zoo on Friday for a morning with Grandma, Kael, Pike and Boone. Between Flora and Boone walking and the boys being a bit more interested in pushing the stroller or wagon I am not sure how many animals we actually saw this time!

We went to Olivia’s second birthday party on Saturday and then Flora went to the farm for the night. I headed out to get her around noon and she was happily playing with her cousins and greeted me with “Auntie!”. 

Today Tom was back from his big trip to Australia. We spent the morning outside doing some gardening and then took the kids on a two hour walk through the coulee. Not the best plan on the hottest day of the year so far with a boy seriously suffering from jetlag! He powered out at the bottom of a ridiculously steep hill and I got some good exercise carrying him up!
