vacuum dancing
Normally Flora wants nothing to do with cleaning up, definitely following in her parents footsteps. I have no idea why hoovering became so intriguing the other day, maybe so she could explore the cool moves she is throwing down in the video above....

horse riding at the farm
Here is a proper onslaught of photos! As you can see, I was
into testing out the new camera that we “bought” using our airmiles! It was a
beautiful, sunny day at the farm. Uncle Ben took all the kids for a ride on
Barney and I am delighted to say that Flora got up there without any
hesitation. Made me a bit teary (okay, I am insanely hormonal at the moment), I
was so proud that she had the confidence to do it!

what the ladybird heard
A firm favourite in our
house is ‘What the Ladybird Heard’. We have read it and read it and read it.
And read it. Flora can literally recite the entire book with just a couple of
words prompted by me. I have attached a small video to give an example. She is
a little over excited so it may be difficult to understand if you aren’t
familiar with the story. The first part goes:
Once
upon a farm lived a fat red hen,
A
duck in a pond and a goose in a pen,
A
woolly sheep, a hairy hog,
A
handsome horse and a dainty dog,
A
cat that meowed and a cat that purred,
A
fine prize cow…
And
a ladybird.
