sisters in a tub

I cant believe that she is already big enough to sit in the tub! Flora likes to have a bath with her but, as with everything, is controlling of the toy situation.

Haha! The look of love...?

I love these little curls. They are a good couple of inches longer than any other hair on her head.

zoo-ing it up

Trip to the zoo that was somewhat enjoyable. I think the kids had fun, I did not... I lost my phone because Iris wouldn't sleep which meant a whole hubbub of moving her around and therefore misplacing my phone. It wasn't until we stalled all the fun and focused solely on that task that we ended up finding it. SIGH. Then we went for an ice cream and that was when I also realized I had misplaced Sylvie. ARGH. So I ran all the way back to security for it. Not usually a problem but I hurt my ankle running last weekend and it was a painful little jaunt. I wished I had answered "yes" when the security guard asked if we had also lost a doll, one had been turned in at the same time as the phone. Maybe he said "dog" and then I might have said yes. Then my darling Flora refused to say good-bye to Aubrey, even after I threatened to take away her ice cream. Good-bye ice cream and hello hysterics!

moving

I would have titled this "crawling" however I am not sure that we are able to add that to the list of skills just yet! As you can see, Iris has started to move. Very slowly. She reminds me of Jesse, the crippled dog off Family Guy. I am sure that she will take this to the next level soon, she is a determined child and I think that being able to follow around her sister is very important to her.

7 months old

Still snowy and miserable here. Flora asked yesterday "when is spring coming back? I enjoyed that."

art

This talented young girl spends a lot of time drawing, below are some pictures for you to enjoy!
A dinosaur on the far left, sunshine, pig, flowers etc.

A princess

A princess and a pig. She recently started drawing them from the side like that. It was after a friend of my folks drew her a picture from that angle. The black line down her pig drawings indicate that they are a saddleback pig, her favorite breed!

A tiger. She draws them because her best bud Boone loves them.

I like this one because she is holding Nini.

Again, Nini is in her hand.

Another Nini one. What a love story that is! Also, we figure that the line up to her hair is the parting...?

A beautiful Christmas tree in this one.

A bird

A flower added to this family portrait and a turtle in green beside it.

A princess, me, Rich, Flora, Iris and Nini, Bunini and Baby Bunini, a pig and a cat!

A picture of her and her dad.
