Surveyors - Part 1 (better late than never!)

 

Surveyors this year was so good!  I can’t remember a nicer trip in recent years. I think it was the length of time we were there, and the brilliant fact that sun did not stop blazing wonderful heat on us the whole time! It was great this year, also, having Flora out of the baby stage so that we could spend entire days down at the beach. She really loved it this year and had no fear of the water. We aren’t totally sure that she loved camping as she asked fairly regularly to go back to our “messy house” (we are renovating...that’s my excuse and I am sticking to it!) and she literally sang for joy the day we packed up to go home!

 

Iris is 4 weeks and Flora can write her name!

Iris enjoyed her first visit to the coffee shop with the family! Judging by that yawn, she didn’t get much caffeine by osmosis.  

Little Iris is 4 weeks today. Isn’t she a beauty? And what a sweet little darling, too.  

 

first day of preschool!

 

Last week we had a very monumental day in our house – Flora started preschool! She is really enjoying it which is a total relief as I agonized over the decision of whether or not to send her. I am glad she is getting to have playtime with other kids because Tom not being here has really impacted her! She asks daily if he is coming, which at first was heartbreaking and now has graduated to annoying...just kidding....
