For an extra special surprise, Grama and Grampa brought True to the farm for a birthday visit. She was so brave and rode him all the way to the river. Excitedly letting Grampa know that she even went up and down the hills.
So a very Happy Birthday to our special girl. We are so happy to watch her grow. Some of her favorite things include crafting with mom, going to gymnastics, reading her chapter books at night and having a cup of tea with Dad in the afternoon. She prides herself on being Iris' translator, always letting her Dad and I know what Iris is on about when we haven't a clue what her jibber-jabber means. She is in love with her cat and takes great care of him. She likes to be "sneaky" and I suspect has managed to watch a whole season of the Great British Baking Show "with" us without our consent. We only know because she fell asleep on the floor outside our room, in prime view of the tv downstairs and, when confronted, proudly divulged her secret. Feisty, sweet, smart, so loving, creative, a total joy.

Mom said she didn't stop talking the whole time. Must be like when she is on a swing and she can't help herself from singing.
