Thumbs up and chocolate!

Thumbs up!
She is getting better and better at saying chocolate!

Watching the Newcastle match.

Thursday 29 December 2011

It hasn’t been an easy Christmas but there were a lot of wonderful moments.

 A love of bookstores.

Lunch with dad in Didsbury.

Aunties enjoyed their nephews.

Flora learned to color more, on our wall....

 Cousins got closer.

Flora found a new hiding spot.

Bellies were full and suspenders were held.

 Gunner got impossibly cuter.

 Nanton grew a delightful smile.

We had our families together.
Boone loved his boots and walked like a little old man in them.

Flora can fly her Newcastle colors with pride.

Rich got an ipod so they can share a hobby...
Family was held close and treasured.

Christmas rush!

Yesterday Tom and I crafted up a storm and made some beautiful tree ornaments.
Naps are being skipped and Flora is on a short fuse. She now has a raging eye infection. Lack of pictures of her are because a) her eye is yucky and b) yesterday she was wearing sweatpants and a sweater, it didn’t even match....
While Flora is having a great time with her Grandma and Grandad it has freed me up to do some projects I wouldn’t normally have the time or energy for! I made her a Christmas stocking! Apologies to my dear friend for the familiar fabric, I promise your quilt will be done sometime before your next birthday.... xxx

Grandma and Grandad visit!

Elaine and Richard arrived late Friday night after a horrendous trip over from England. Put it this way ONE of their two bags managed to catch up with them this evening...
We played outside today and Flora showed off her fearlessness in the snow. The battle of Eggy Bread vs French Toast continued today and I think that Eggy Bread may have taken the lead. She also showed off a new trick that Grandad Richard has taught her...I want to tell her to get her finger out of her nose but I think it is too cute.
