I have had a hellish couple of days trying to get some sort of start on Christmas tasks. After hours of internet shopping and struggling with Gap promo codes I have finally ordered an adorable outfit for Flora for Christmas day. I don’t know why I feel the need to obsess over every detail but it is creeping into everything! For example, I went to the mall tonight and after two and a half hours I left with one present (spent a total of $12.50). Here’s hoping the next trip is a lot more successful!
Today Tom came into the kitchen while I was making the kids their lunch and excitedly told me that Flora said “horse”. He is always encouraging her to say different things so I think he was delighted to hear something other than her usual repertoire - “bye bye” “ta tyu” (thank you) “gog”(dog) “coq”(rooster) etc...
