Got to beautiful Corbridge on Monday, and left for France on Thursday morning. It didn't give us much time to let the girls work through their jet-lag but we did manage to enjoy the first few days in an exhausted sort of way. Iris and Flora managed the flight very nicely. Unfortunately the little fella next to us didn't and kept us all from getting some much needed sleep on the way. Flora was glued to Grandma and Grandads side right from the start and stayed this way through the whole holiday! She got her very own basket to go to the bottom of the garden to pick fruit with Grandma to make some jam and I think this was probably one of the highlights of the trip for her.
