Christmas and Boxing Day

We had a brilliant Christmas. Started off the celebrating with company at our house and all the kids were excited to see Santa drive by on the fire truck! Flora put a lovely snack out for Santa and then it was early to bed for all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed watching Flora open all of her presents from Santa, mom and dad, and Iris. She was lucky enough to get the special red and white sweets in her stocking that she kept on noticing in the Night Before Christmas book that she read with Dad a lot leading up to the big day. Santa remembered to bring her the pigs that she asked for as well!

We headed to the farm for another big present opening with all the cousins and Grama and Grampa. Christmas dinner was delicious and we all had trouble staying up at all, most of the adults wanted to put the day away and get to bed!

On boxing day the Sanders clan came by and we tobogganed on the river bank. Rich couldn't because of his dodgy knee but I went a few times for us, once crashing into a dog, many times just crashing and once smashing my elbow into something hard enough that I thought for a moment it may have broken!

Sorry, Grandma, I somehow managed to miss getting a picture of Flora in her beautiful dress....Will recreate events and fix that mistake ;)
