Iris has reached the age where I reckon she can stand on the chair without falling off, the basis of being allowed to help Flora and I bake banana bread and cookies. They are ridiculously adorable. Mostly, I chuck chocolate chips in their direction to keep them distracted and happy while I mix as fast as I can. Iris was putting her spoon in the batter and dipping it in and out, tasting away happily.
