Glenbow Provincial Park

We had a walk at the Glenbow Provincial Park yesterday. It is only a couple of minutes outside Cochrane and there is a whole river valley to explore. This time of year is a little boring for color but the scenery was still beautiful and we enjoyed our hilly loop through the park. There seemed to be path systems all over the place and the park spreads from Cochrane to Calgary so we are thinking we won’t have to do the same walk twice for a while!
Halfway through our walk I remembered why we hadn’t come here yet, Kael had seen bear scat the last time they were there. We started to talk louder and I came up with a plan - if a bear attacked us, I would put myself between Rich and Flora and the bear while they made a run for it. Somewhat worryingly, Rich had no problem with this at all.
